In 2022, I worked as a project coordinator for research and publications of the Municipal Art Acquisitions, a biennial project organized by the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. When Things Are Beings was the title of the 2022 edition, presented through an exhibition exploring material culture and its inner power and transcendence.
I coordinated the online catalogue accompanying the exhibition that ran from 26 November 2022 to 10 April 2023. The digital publication includes extended texts on the 24 selected projects on view, a conversation between the curators Amanda Pinatih and Britte Sloothaak reflecting on the exhibition’s development, and an essay by Mira Asriningtyas on re-enchantment and cosmic hopes. The book’s graphic design is made by Print the Future (Klara van Duijkeren and Vincent Schipper).
